AAI Nagpur Airport has announced 9 tentative seats across the following Graduate and Diploma Apprentice disciplines, each with a training duration of one year. Candidates applying for more than one discipline will not be considered, and their application will be rejected. S. Eligibility
Only candidates belonging to the state of Maharashtra (Nagpur or the nearby area of Nagpur) are eligible to apply. As on 31.07.2026, candidates must be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 26 years of age. Upper age relaxation is available as follows. Category: Age Relaxation SC/ST and PWD: 5 Years OBC: 3 Years In case of non-availability of candidates in reserved categories, the vacancies will be filled from other reserved categories/General category.
Application Fee
There is no application fee for AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27.
Selection Process
• Selection for engagement as Apprentice is based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. • The candidature of the applicant is provisional; final selection is based on Interview/verification of certificates and testimonials, and submission of a Certificate of Medical Fitness (obtained only from a Gazetted Government Medical Officer/Medical Officer of a Government Undertaking) at the time of joining. • A Police Verification Certificate must be obtained from the candidate’s local area of residence. • Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/document verification through their registered email ID only. Airports Authority of India has no obligation to offer regular employment to Apprentices on completion of the training. However, apprentices who successfully complete one year of Apprenticeship Training in AAI will be exempted from submitting application fees for future direct recruitment in AAI, subject to fulfilling the other requirements in the respective recruitment advertisement.
How to Apply
• Register on the BOAT/NATS 2.0 Portal as a student, via nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php or moenats.aicte-india.org/student_register.php. • After completing enrollment/registration as Student/Apprentice, apply against the AAI advertisement shown on the dashboard in listing form. • After registering on the BOAT web portal, your documents will be verified by BOAT. • Following verification, apply to Airports Authority of India, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur (Establishment No. WMHMCC000058), under the desired trade for apprenticeship. • Only applications received online through the NATS portal will be considered. Important Instructions
• Applications without supporting documents, or that are incomplete or do not fulfil the prescribed criteria, will be rejected. • Candidates applying for more than one discipline will not be considered, and their application will be rejected. • Requests for change in mailing address, category, discipline, qualification, or bank details once declared during registration will not be entertained. • The number of candidates to be engaged is indicative and may change as per requirement without further notification. • During apprenticeship, candidates will be governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended) and the organisation’s policies/rules. • Reservation for SC/ST and OBC is applicable as per rules; OBC candidates must submit a Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate in the prescribed proforma. OBC candidates falling in the creamy layer are not entitled to OBC reservation benefits and must apply as “UR”, meeting the UR age criteria. • At any stage, if a candidate is found to have furnished false or incorrect information, their candidature/engagement is liable to be cancelled. • Apprentices shall undergo training only at the notified Airport/Establishment; no change in place of training will be entertained. • If no application is received from suitable/eligible candidates by the last date, AAI shall take apprentices directly from the NATS 2.0 portal. • For clarifications/queries, candidates may email [email protected] or call 0712-2807531.
